A full vaccination means 14 days have passed since your final dose of the vaccine.
The government recently set out the details to enable UK residents who have been fully vaccinated with an NHS administered vaccine to travel to amber list countries without having to quarantine on their return to England, from Monday 19 July.
The changes will come into force from Monday 19 July at 4am. Those who have been fully vaccinated with an NHS administered vaccine in the UK and are returning from amber countries are required to complete a test on or before day 2 after arrival. They will not have to take a day 8 test or self-isolate.

You must have a confirmed invoice from Expert Medicals prior to travel to England, Northern Ireland and Scotland.
You will receive the following from Expert Medicals;
- A confirmation email containing your unique booking reference number to be used to complete the Passenger Locator Form.
- An invoice confirming purchase of your coronavirus test kit.
Please note: ALL TEST KITS MUST BE ACTIVATED BEFORE TAKING THE SAMPLE AND RETURNING TO THE LABORATORY.
IF YOU HAVE NOT ACTIVATED YOUR TEST KIT YOU WILL NOT RECEIVE YOUR RESULTS.

Outbound COVID-19 Test Kits Delivery
Our Day 2 Testing Package is sent via our Delivery Partners.
We dispatch the test kit(s) to arrive on or before day 2 of your quarantine, provided you have placed the order at least 5 business days before your arrival in England.
Please allow 1-5 business days to receive your Travel Testing Package after the day you place your order.
Please note any orders placed less than 5 business days before arrival in England, or after arrival in England, may not be delivered on or before day 2 of your quarantine, due to processing times and delivery schedules.
Please note orders are not dispatched on Saturday or Sunday; Bank Holidays or other Statutory holidays.

Royal Mail Tracked 24
If your COVID-19 Test Kits include free Royal Mail Tracked 24 return labels to post your completed sample to our laboratory.
Send your test kit back using the free return packaging provided via a Royal Mail Priority Postbox Monday - Friday.

Please make a note of the tracking number that is detailed on the returns label. Additionally, please do not stick the returns label on top of the lilac COVID-19 block on the outside of the kit box.
Ongoing COVID-19 restrictions, reduced air and freight capacity, high volumes and winter weather conditions are all impacting Royal Mail's delivery across the UK. Please refer to Royal Mail's website for their latest updates regarding delivery delays.

Using a private courier to be arranged at your own expense
You can use a private courier. We recommend this option if you need to return your sample over the weekend to receive your COVID-19 results on a specific date.
Please arrange a private courier to collect your sample and deliver it directly to our laboratory.
